The Invisible Edge is the doctrinal entry point into the Novert Group Variable Protective Postures system.

This program is an advanced educational training product designed to develop awareness, protective judgment, posture fluency, Threatagility, communication, emotional regulation, behavioural interpretation, and adaptive decision making. It is intended for personal and professional development and is delivered for educational purposes only.

This program is not a licence, not a formal operational accreditation, not an employment qualification, and not a substitute for any legal, regulatory, licensing, organisational, or jurisdiction specific requirement that may apply to a participant in their country, state, industry, or profession.

By accessing, enrolling in, continuing with, or completing this program, I acknowledge, understand, and agree as follows:

1. Nature of the Program

1.1 I understand that The Invisible Edge is an educational training program designed to develop awareness, protective thinking, adaptive judgment, and doctrinal understanding.

1.2 I understand that the program may include material relating to protection, threat behaviour, behavioural analysis, posture, emotional regulation, communication, human terrain, decision making under pressure, and related operational or protective concepts.

1.3 I understand that the program is designed to challenge perception, encourage reflection, and develop applied thinking, but does not provide guaranteed outcomes of any kind.

1.4 I understand that my experience of the program, and any value derived from it, will depend on my own judgment, maturity, consistency, reflection, lawful application, and personal capacity to integrate the material.

2. What the Program Is Not

2.1 I understand that this program does not by itself qualify, certify, license, appoint, authorise, or permit me to perform security, close protection, executive protection, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or any other regulated or operational activity where a separate legal, licensing, employer, or jurisdiction specific requirement applies.

2.2 I understand that completion of this online program alone does not make me a VPP Operator, VPP Instructor, or operational representative of Novert Group.

2.3 I understand that any further recognition, certification, pathway progression, or operational standing within the Novert Group system may require additional training, assessment, verification, face to face evaluation, ethical review, or other standards determined by Novert Group in its sole discretion.

2.4 I understand that nothing in this program should be interpreted as legal advice, tactical direction for unlawful use, a substitute for local compliance obligations, mental health treatment, medical advice, or professional supervision.

3. Assumption of Responsibility

3.1 I accept full responsibility for how I interpret, adapt, and apply any concept, framework, language, principle, model, or training content delivered in or through this program.

3.2 I understand that all real world decisions, actions, omissions, judgments, and applications of the material remain solely my responsibility.

3.3 I agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that any use of the material is lawful, ethical, context appropriate, professionally responsible, and within the limits of my actual competence, training, authority, and jurisdiction.

3.4 I understand that Novert Group cannot control the conditions, environments, legal frameworks, personal capacity, or third party factors in which I may choose to apply the material, and that Novert Group therefore disclaims responsibility for participant misuse, overreach, misapplication, or unlawful application.

4. Lawful and Ethical Use

4.1 I agree that I will use the program, and any ideas, frameworks, tools, concepts, or materials contained within it, only for lawful, ethical, protective, educational, and professionally responsible purposes.

4.2 I agree that I will not use the program or its content to harm, manipulate, intimidate, stalk, exploit, surveil unlawfully, harass, abuse, or gain unlawful advantage over any person.

4.3 I agree that I will not use the program or its content in any manner that is reckless, abusive, malicious, deceptive, unethical, discriminatory, or contrary to public safety.

4.4 I understand that Novert Group may suspend, terminate, restrict, or revoke my access, certification status, pathway eligibility, or future participation if Novert Group reasonably believes that I have misused the material, misrepresented my standing, acted unethically, or behaved in a manner inconsistent with the standards, doctrine, or values of the system.

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

5.1 I understand that Novert Group makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that participation in this program will produce any specific personal, professional, financial, operational, psychological, commercial, or safety outcome.

5.2 I understand that the program is intended to support development, but cannot eliminate risk, guarantee performance, prevent harm, or ensure successful outcomes in real world environments.

5.3 I acknowledge that awareness, judgment, and performance are influenced by many variables outside the control of Novert Group, including my own condition, my environment, the conduct of others, and the dynamic nature of threat and uncertainty.

6. Wellbeing and Personal Readiness

6.1 I understand that some aspects of the program may involve discussion, examples, or reflection relating to stress, fear, trauma, personal safety, operational failure, threat environments, or pressure based decision making.

6.2 I acknowledge that participation may prompt emotional, psychological, or physiological responses, including discomfort, reflection, or activation related to my own past experiences.

6.3 I accept responsibility for monitoring my own wellbeing while undertaking the program.

6.4 I agree that if I experience distress, dysregulation, or any concern about my capacity to continue safely, I will pause my participation and seek appropriate support from a suitably qualified professional.

6.5 I understand that Novert Group is not providing psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric care, crisis support, or medical treatment through this program.

7. Professional and Public Misrepresentation

7.1 I agree that I will not falsely state, imply, or represent that I hold any qualification, licence, authority, appointment, endorsement, certification, operational status, or organisational standing that I do not in fact hold.

7.2 I agree that I will not present completion of The Invisible Edge as equivalent to operational certification, instructor authorisation, government licensing, or deployment approval.

7.3 I understand that any public, professional, commercial, or operational misrepresentation of my status may result in immediate termination of access and disqualification from future involvement with Novert Group.

8. Intellectual Property and Controlled Transmission

8.1 I understand that the program content, doctrine, language, frameworks, videos, written material, structure, and associated resources are proprietary to Novert Group unless otherwise stated.

8.2 I agree not to reproduce, distribute, republish, teach, license, sell, share, upload, transmit, exploit, or adapt the program content except as expressly permitted in writing by Novert Group.

8.3 I understand that unauthorised distribution, commercial use, or unauthorised teaching of the material may result in legal action, removal from the program, and permanent exclusion from the Novert Group pathway.

9. Limitation of Responsibility

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree that Novert Group, its founder, officers, affiliates, contractors, educators, and representatives will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim, liability, cost, or consequence arising from or related to my participation in the program or my interpretation or application of the material.

9.2 This includes, without limitation, any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, personal, professional, commercial, reputational, legal, psychological, or operational loss or damage arising from misuse, misunderstanding, reliance, overreach, or real world application.

9.3 Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10. Right to Refuse, Restrict, or Revoke

10.1 I understand that Novert Group reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse enrolment, restrict access, remove content access, deny pathway progression, withhold certification, revoke certification, or terminate participation where conduct, misuse, ethical breach, misrepresentation, unlawful behaviour, or doctrinal incompatibility is identified.

10.2 I understand that protection of doctrinal integrity, participant safety, ethical use, and brand trust forms part of Novert Group’s legitimate operational interest in maintaining standards.

11. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By proceeding into The Invisible Edge, I confirm that:

11.1 I have read and understood this Program Risk Acknowledgement and Participation Statement in full.

11.2 I understand the nature, scope, and limits of the program.

11.3 I accept personal responsibility for my participation and any application of the material.

11.4 I agree to engage with the program lawfully, ethically, responsibly, and within the limits of my competence and authority.

11.5 I understand that if I do not agree with this statement, I should not proceed with the program.
