Who is Little Sentinels for?
Children aged 6 to 11, learning alongside a parent, carer or trusted grownup. For ages 11 to 16, explore Inner Shield.
Does my child complete the program alone?
No. The program is designed for a grownup to lead. Watch together, guide the activities and help your child connect the ideas to familiar situations.
Will this frighten my child?
The approach centres on story, connection and practical awareness. Keep conversations relaxed, follow your childās pace and pause if an activity feels overwhelming. The goal is to support confidence and communication.
How does the online learning work?
There are 10 video lessons featuring Arlo, with printable activities, games and reflection sheets. Work through them at your own pace and allow time to talk and practise together.
What are the badges and certificate for?
The program includes badges and achievements to recognise progress, plus a Little Sentinel Certificate on completion. They celebrate participation and learning, rather than certify a childās ability to manage danger independently.
Do I need to complete Threatagility first?
No previous training is required. The adult Beyond Personal Security Awareness program is recommended for grownups who want a deeper foundation, but it is not a prerequisite.
Can this replace adult supervision?
No. The learning supports awareness, communication and everyday habits. Keeping children safe remains an adult responsibility, and completing the program does not guarantee safety.
