The pressure follows you home

The day ends.
Your system doesn’t.

You can handle responsibility. The question is what it costs you when you cannot put it down.

  • 01You are at dinner, but still running the meeting in your head.
  • 02You push through the day, then have little left for the people who matter.
  • 03You swing between feeling wired and feeling flat. Neither feels like a choice.

The capability we train

More than calm.
A wider range.

Some moments need drive. Others need recovery. We practise recognising your state and moving towards what the situation actually needs.

01 / Recovery

Stand Down

Practise coming off duty, releasing tension and making room for genuine recovery.

02 / Presence

On Post

Alert, steady and available. In the conversation, with your family, ready for the next thing.

03 / Drive

Engaged

Bring energy and focus to a demanding moment, then learn how to return when it passes.

Learn to settle. Learn to engage. Practise returning.

Eight weeks / Three phases

A clear progression.
Built around you.

We start with how you operate today, practise the skills together, then build them into the situations where you need them.

PHASE 01 / WEEK 1

Advance

The Read

Map your patterns, triggers and early signs of pressure. Set a concrete target and begin your first recovery practice.

PHASE 02 / WEEKS 2 TO 7

Build

02 / The Drop

Build your breathing sequence for settling.

03 / The Body

Use body awareness and recovery practices to support it.

04 / The Ramp

Explore how to bring up energy and focus deliberately.

05 / The Edge

Practise keeping choice as the challenge increases.

06 / The Return

Work on recovering after an intense moment.

07 / The Install

Turn the useful practices into daily routines.

PHASE 03 / WEEK 8

Handover

The Proof

Review your progress against your starting point. Finalise your personal State Protocol and your plan for the next 90 days.

The framework stays clear. The practices and pace are adapted to you.

The thing you leave with

Your own
State Protocol.

We build it together during your sessions. A practical reference for your triggers, the practices that suit you and the routines you want to keep.

  • Your Range Card. A specific goal we can review together.
  • Your practice library. Clear instructions for the drills you use.
  • Your Field Log. A weekly record of practice and progress.
  • Your forward plan. Priorities for the next 90 days.
THE STATE PROTOCOLILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE
01 / NOTICE

“After a difficult meeting, I keep replaying it. My jaw tightens and I stop listening.”

02 / RESPOND

A settling practice selected and rehearsed with Lucas.

03 / RETURN

A deliberate transition before the next conversation.

04 / REVIEW

What did I notice? What helped? What needs adjusting?

A fictional example to show the format. Your protocol is built from your own experience.

Four disciplines / One approach

Train it in the session.
Use it in your life.

01

Breath & physiology

Practise breathing approaches for settling and preparing for effort.

02

Somatic & embodiment

Notice tension, posture and movement. Work with what you feel in your body.

03

Awareness

Recognise your patterns earlier, before they dictate your next move.

04

Strategic coaching

Turn what you learn into decisions, boundaries and actions that matter to you.

Private / Live / Online

A working session.
Every week.

You work directly with me for 60 minutes on video. We review your practice, work on one clear skill, rehearse it together and update your protocol before you leave.

Join from anywhere

A laptop or phone, reliable internet and a private place where you can move.

Practise between calls

At least five days a week. Most daily practices take under ten minutes.

Stay in contact

Weekday voice and text support through WhatsApp between sessions.

Keep it personal

Your real situations shape the work. No group calls or generic weekly scripts.

Experience
under pressure.

I spent more than two decades protecting, training and leading people in demanding environments. As an AFP close protection officer, I protected two serving Prime Ministers and accompanied the Prime Minister to Afghanistan twice.

That career took me from high threat environments to diplomatic engagements where discretion and composure mattered just as much.

My coaching draws on that experience alongside qualifications in NLP Strategic Coaching, Psychotherapy & Time Based Therapy, and my training as a 250 hour yoga teacher.

More about my background

A good fit matters

Ready to put it
into practice.

  • You carry responsibility at work, at home or both.
  • You want more choice in how you meet pressure.
  • You are willing to practise and be honest about what happens.
  • You can make room for a weekly private video session.

What this asks of you

Showing up matters. So does the practice between sessions. We use your weekly log to see what is helping and what needs changing.

You do not need experience with breathwork or yoga. You do need a willingness to learn.

This is coaching and skills training. It is not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support.

Your eight weeks

Private coaching.
A system to keep.

$1,500 USD

Option to pay in two instalments.

Five clients. Focused attention.

I work with a maximum of five private coaching clients at a time, so each person receives focused attention throughout the eight weeks.

Start with an application so we can establish whether the program fits your goals.

  • Eight private 60 minute live video sessions with Lucas
  • Weekday voice and text support
  • Your personal State Protocol
  • Your Range Card and weekly Field Log
  • A library of the practices you use
  • Your 90 day forward plan
01 / Apply

Tell me what you want to change and why it matters now.

02 / Confirm the fit

We establish suitability, scheduling and the next steps before you begin.

03 / Get to work

Complete your assessment and book your sessions. We build from your starting point.

Before you apply

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Can I do this from another country?

Yes. Sessions are live video calls, so you can join from anywhere with a laptop or phone and reliable internet. We confirm a workable session time before you begin. You will need your camera on and a private space where you can move.

How much time do I need?

One 60 minute session each week, practice on at least five days and a short weekly Field Log. Most daily practices take under ten minutes. The aim is to build them into your life.

Do I need a military or protection background?

No. The language comes from my background, but the work is designed for everyday responsibility. You do not need experience in protection, breathwork or yoga.

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching and practical skills training. We do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. Suitability is considered through the application and assessment.

What does support between sessions mean?

You can send voice notes or messages through WhatsApp about your practice and what comes up between sessions. Support is available Monday to Friday. It is not an emergency or crisis service.

Can I split the payment?

Yes. The program fee is $1,500 USD, with the option to pay in two instalments. We confirm the payment arrangements before you begin.

What happens after the eight weeks?

We review your progress, finalise your State Protocol and set your next 90 days of practice. You keep your protocol and practice library as references for continuing the work.
